Singers from three different choirs, no rehearsal, an ad hoc accompanist... and a lot of love. From friday night's vigil for the Orlando victims in Manchester, NH. Luc Roberge is directing, Mike Phoenix accompanying on guitar, as mixed voices from TransPosition Vocal Ensemble, the NH Gay Men's Chorus, and the UU Manchester Choir sing "Truly Brave," a mashup of Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" and Sarah Bareilles' "(I Wanna See You Be) Brave". We are honored to have been part of it.

This recording was caught at a rehearsal last year and I was inspired to put some images with it. We often use rounds for warm-up and this is one of my favorites. Lyrics: "I know this rose will open, I know my fear will burn away, I know my soul will unfurl its wings, I know this rose will open..."
