TDoR update

We are so excited about our upcoming Transgender Day of Remembrance event, "An Evening Of Remembrance And Hope" on November 13th (see this page for more details). Plans are coming together for a deeply moving and (hopefully) inspiring event!

All are welcome to this Sunday evening event which will include music, history, education on Trans issues, personal reflections, and a ceremony of remembrance for those Transfolk lost in 2016 to hate crimes and suicide. If you have lost a Trans friend or family member you are invited to bring photos or mementos of that person for our memorial altar.

We will have some wonderful guest speakers who are active in the Trans/LGBT community, including Gerri Cannon from PFLAG-NH, Jeff Kramer of Rights & Democracy NH, our NH-ACLU Outreach Coordinator Christina Gibson, and Rachael Booth who is currently running for the NH House (find out more about her campaign here), plus reflections on the Trans journey from Amy Whitaker and Marha McKitrick.

We also have some special musical guests: members of the New Hampshire Gay Men's Chorus (www.nhgmc.com/) and the UU Church of Manchester Choir will be joining TransPosition for a powerful closing song by three massed choruses... wow!

Please come and help us to honor the dead and inspire the living. Come raise your voice with us for greater understanding in this world!
