One of our wonderful Ally members the chorus has been diagnosed with late-stage pancreatic cancer.
Alisa is an amazing person, an incredible Ally, foster mom to many loving kids, fully-accepting mom of a Trans teen, a breast cancer survivor, social worker, and simply one of the bravest and most caring people I know.
She and her husband are dear friends of mine and were the first to shift my pronoun from she to he, before I even asked.
I'd really appreciate if any of you would share this. We're trying to get it out there in as many places as possible. Alisa has been such a strong supporter and singer in our group, and we love her so much.
